How to Get a Job and Build a Career as a Creator

Are you a Creator according to your Wealth Dynamics profile?

If so, you have a unique set of strengths and characteristics that can help you succeed in the right job or career.

If you haven’t taken the test yet, you can do so here.

Creators are the best at getting things started, and although they can be quick to create chaos, they can also be surprisingly creative at finding ways out of chaos. Always put them in charge of new projects, but move them on to the next creation once their job is done.

On the Wealth Dynamics square, Creators sit at the top, right in the middle of introvert and extrovert.

Sure enough, Creators come in two forms: the introverted creators are the inventors, working on many new ideas or projects at the same time. The extroverted Creator is a pioneer: innovative but focused, creating not just products, but businesses as well.

Here are some tips on how to find the right job for your Creator profile

1 - Look for creative roles:

As a Creator, you thrive in creative and innovative environments. You're naturally creative and enjoy brainstorming new ideas. Look for roles that allow you to express your creativity and bring new ideas to the table. Consider positions such as graphic designer, writer, artist, or musician.

2 - Seek out flexible environments:

As a Creator, you prefer to work in an environment that allows you to be flexible and adaptable. Avoid rigid, structured workplaces that limit your ability to be creative. Instead, look for companies that encourage experimentation and innovation.

3 - Find opportunities for collaboration:

Although you enjoy working independently, you also enjoy collaborating with others to create something new. Look for roles that allow you to work with a team of like-minded individuals who can provide feedback and support.

4 - Consider entrepreneurship:

As a Creator, you have a natural entrepreneurial spirit. Consider starting your own business or freelancing to showcase your creativity and work on your own terms. Don't limit yourself to just finding a job - entrepreneurship could be a perfect fit for your Creator profile.

5 - Play to your strengths:

As a Creator, you excel at generating new ideas and coming up with unique solutions to problems. You may struggle with the details or follow-through, so it's important to find roles that allow you to focus on your strengths.

How Creators get into flow

Creators are excellent at getting things started, but often terrible at completing them.

To get into flow, Creators need to stay focused on creating, and surrounding themselves with a team or partners who can execute better than they can. In this way, they create far more value for everyone.

Now how does the Creator profile compare to other Wealth Dynamics profiles?

Let's take a quick look:

Supporter Profile: Supporters excel at building relationships and supporting others, but may struggle with making tough decisions and taking risks.

Trader Profile: Traders are risk-takers who are skilled at identifying and maximizing opportunities, but may struggle with creating long term plans.

Lord Profile: Lords are natural leaders with a strategic mindset, but may struggle with delegating tasks and trusting others, which can lead to micromanagement and burnout.

In summary, as a Creator, you excel in creative, flexible environments where you can generate new ideas and collaborate with others. Consider entrepreneurship as an option, and always play to your strengths.
