How to Get a Job and Build a Career as a Star

If you're a Star according to your Wealth Dynamics profile, you have a unique set of strengths and characteristics that can help you excel in the right job or career.

If you haven’t taken the test yet, you can do so here.

Stars are the best promoters, and need to lead from the front.

Give them the chance to shine, and give them the space to deliver results without tying them down.

Give them the support and encouragement, and they will be the best spokesperson for the group. Discourage them, and they will be the biggest critic.

On the Wealth Dynamics square, Stars sit up at the top right, creative and extrovert – which means they take their clues from the reaction of those around them.

The more they stand out, the more at home they feel, and the more they attract. Like Creators, Stars are best off when left to create. But rather than create products they are best at creating the performance.

Here are some tips on how to find the right job for your Star profile

1 - Look for roles that allow you to shine:

As a Star, you thrive on being the center of attention and showcasing your talents. Look for roles that allow you to be in the spotlight and use your charisma to influence others. Consider positions such as salesperson, performer, motivational speaker, or public figure.

2 - Seek out opportunities for growth:

As a Star, you crave growth and challenge. Avoid jobs that don't offer room for advancement or don't allow you to learn new things. Instead, look for companies that have a culture of continuous learning and development.

3 - Find ways to connect with others:

Although you enjoy being in the spotlight, you also enjoy connecting with others on a personal level. Look for roles that allow you to interact with people and build relationships. Consider positions such as recruiter, marketer, or customer service representative.

4 - Consider entrepreneurship:

As a Star, you have a natural entrepreneurial spirit. Consider starting your own business or freelancing to showcase your talents and work on your own terms. Don't limit yourself to just finding a job - entrepreneurship could be a perfect fit for your Star profile.

5 - Play to your strengths:

As a Star, you excel at influencing and inspiring others. You may struggle with the details or follow-through, so it's important to find roles that allow you to focus on your strengths.

How Stars get into flow

Stars are quick thinkers who think best on their feet and in front of others. It is easy for Stars to lose their spark, as they are an open reflection of their environment.

They get in flow not by cutting their light, but by helping to shine it on others.

Stars get in flow when they have a great idea or project to focus on and grow. The more wood, the bigger the fire.

Now how does the Star profile compare to other Wealth Dynamics profiles?

Let's take a quick look:

Deal Maker Profile: Deal Makers excel at identifying and closing deals, but may struggle with focusing on a single project for an extended period of time. In contrast, Stars thrive in the spotlight and enjoy working on multiple projects at once.

Accumulator Profile: Accumulators are excellent at managing resources and building wealth, but may struggle with taking risks and making big decisions. On the other hand, Stars are natural risk-takers who enjoy being in the limelight and pursuing big opportunities.

Mechanic Profile: Mechanics are excellent at building and fixing things, but may struggle with marketing their products or services. In contrast, Stars excel at self-promotion and branding themselves as experts in their field.

In summary, as a Star, you excel at being in the spotlight and working on multiple projects at once. You are a natural risk-taker and enjoy pursuing big opportunities. Consider roles that allow you to use your charisma and communication skills, such as sales, marketing, and public relations. If you're considering entrepreneurship, consider starting a personal brand or becoming an influencer in your industry.
