How to Get a Job and Build a Career as a Trader

If you're a Trader according to your Wealth Dynamics profile, you have a unique set of strengths and characteristics that can help you excel in the right job or career.

If you haven’t taken the test yet, you can do so here.

Traders are your best negotiators, as they are looking for balance and fairness. They will always get you the best price, in both what you buy and what you sell. Traders will have their ear to the ground in your market and your team, and they will always look for harmony and equality in the team.

Traders sit on the base of the Wealth Dynamics square. Like Creators, some Traders are introvert and some are extrovert.

Introvert Traders are best with data and research, and can make things happen while sitting in front of a computer screen.

Extrovert Traders trade with people. They sense the lows and highs when with people. They sense what’s needed and act accordingly.

Here are some tips on how to find the right job for your Trader profile

1 - Look for roles that allow you to connect with others:

As a Trader, you excel at building and maintaining relationships. Look for roles that allow you to network and connect with others. Consider positions such as sales, business development, or customer relationship management.

2 - Seek out opportunities for growth:

As a Trader, you crave growth and challenge. Avoid jobs that don't offer room for advancement or don't allow you to learn new things. Instead, look for companies that have a culture of continuous learning and development.

3 - Find ways to use your intuition:

Traders have a natural ability to read people and situations. Look for roles that allow you to use your intuition to make decisions or negotiate deals. Consider positions such as mediator, negotiator, or strategist.

4 - Consider entrepreneurship:

As a Trader, you have a natural ability to build networks and form partnerships. Consider starting your own business or freelancing to showcase your talents and work on your own terms. Don't limit yourself to just finding a job - entrepreneurship could be a perfect fit for your Trader profile.

5 - Play to your strengths:

Traders need to be hands on and actively engaged. When they are in charge of making moment-by-moment decisions they are at their best, and are the best to lead in a crisis.

How Traders get into flow

Many in the health care industry are Traders, who care about helping others and can work under pressure. If you think about an emergency room in a hospital, this is Trader energy, where everyone is doing what is needed the moment it is needed.

Traders get into flow when the team is working like this, and they feel they have had a good day when it has been busy and everyone has been involved in the final result.

Now how does the Trader profile compare to other Wealth Dynamics profiles?

Let's take a quick look:

Lord Profile: Lords excel at managing resources and delegating tasks, but may struggle with connecting with others on a personal level. In contrast, Traders thrive on building relationships and may struggle with managing details or focusing on one project for an extended period of time.

Creator Profile: Creators excel at generating ideas and innovation, but may struggle with networking and building relationships. In contrast, Traders excel at forming partnerships and building networks but may struggle with the details of executing their ideas.

Supporter Profile: Supporters are excellent at supporting others and building teams, but may struggle with taking risks and making decisions on their own. In contrast, Traders are natural risk-takers who enjoy making deals and negotiating.

In summary, as a Trader, you excel at building and maintaining relationships. You have a natural ability to read people and situations and use your intuition to negotiate deals. Consider roles that allow you to connect with others, such as sales, business development, or customer relationship management. If you're considering entrepreneurship, focus on building networks and partnerships.
